The thread we use for embroidery designs is resistant to bleach. 

Items, if washable, should be washed in cool water and dried low. 

If an item needs to be ironed, it should be done on the inside of the item. Do not place iron on the embroidery thread (front). The thread will lose its sheen and possibly melt!  Do not use steam.
